Zoë Nelson – Trainer

Zoë has a decade of training and documentation experience which has taken her all over the world. She says, “I started by running a helpdesk and realised that most people didn’t need help, they needed proper documentation and training. I began by writing ‘cheat sheets’ and worked my way up to manuals and training courses.”
Her training philosophy is simple but effective: “Don't just teach the How? – teach the Why? and the When? This gives a more rounded approach and prompts business processes to receive the attention they deserve.”
Zoë is certified in the Institute of I.T. Training’s TAP delivery technique. While not slavishly applied, she finds it helps to make courses more interactive for delegates.
Zoë is a learn-a-holic who loves to know how things work and to pass it on to others. “Education is not just for the young. If I ever lose interest in learning something new then shoot me!” Piano duets are currently keeping her on her toes.
