Alison Peck – Trainer

Alison has been a technical author since 1994 and training others has been a part of her life for nearly 25 years. She has been responsible for writing and editing all types of documentation, from product manuals, online help and training materials to marketing collateral, formal bids and proposals, and white papers.

Alison believes, “Making training sessions relevant is vital in helping people to apply what they’ve learnt to their normal activities”. Alison actively encourages those she is training to participate by sharing their experiences with others in the group, discussing both areas of difficulty and of success.

Alison’s main hobby over the last few years has been studying and she has developed a fascination with language and the way we communicate – everything from English and French to British Sign Language and the languages of the Internet.
