Keep it short
Keep your text as brief as possible. What will you deal with most quickly, the three paragraph email or the three page one? Your reader will do the same. Your average sentence length should be between 15-20 words. And try not to have any paragraphs longer than seven lines. You can of course vary sentence length for effect.
