Summary

Our client is a leader in Electronic Design Automation (EDA) and is looking for a Technical Writer to join their leading edge team developing complex design tools for electronics engineers. To research, design and develop documentation (manuals, tutorials and HTML-based help systems); coordinate technical reviews; test deliverables for clarity, accuracy and usability. Participate in project support teams that included representatives from product engineering, product marketing, customer support, quality assurance and other writers and instructors.

Requirements

• Technical writing experience supporting complex technical products.
• Experience in an EDA-related field preferred.
• Bachelors degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Technical Communication or equivalent.
• Excellent interviewing, researching and writing skills.
• Ability to work on cross-functional teams and concurrently on multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment.
• Ability to work independently.
• A working knowledge of FrameMaker and generation of HTML and PDF is preferred

Salary

From 27,000 to 32,000
