Overview

Role:

• Designing, creating, editing and maintaining online and printed documentation, including reference manuals, software product documentation and training materials.
• Proof-reading and contributing to user interface textual content and design.
• Designing and planning documentation for new releases of existing products.
• Assisting in creating requirements documents, code level documentation and marketing materials for new products.

Requirements

Skills:

• University degree in a technical discipline, preferably Geoscience - is an absolute must.
• Minimum 5 years experience with software documentation.
• Proven ability to develop high quality documentation
• Ability to quickly learn the intricacies of new software through hands-on use.
• Strong interviewing skills to elicit information from developers and domain experts.
• Adept at organizing information to make it clear, accessible, and suited to the target audience.
• Familiarity with Unix, Linux, Windows, HTML, FrameMaker, RoboHelp, and MS Office.
